are chinese teams becoming poor? Seems like they have less and less korean imports each year. There are no longer any teams that have WOW rosters like in the past.
Also every year that LPL won worlds was when they scouted a korean midlaner in academy and then brought them over to china and developed them over the years. rookie doinb and scout.. all of which came when they were young. hence they are fluent in mandarin and korean. Loved it when scout or someone was doing an interview on stage in worlds 2023 in front of a korean crowd but chose to speak chinese instead lol.

I really do hope JDG can pull it off next year but twice in a row now knight has failed to be a popoff.
hes really good i guess but nothing special. everyone says hes amazing but i think not. hes not even fancy and doesnt play make at all. just a stable player with nothing special. if JDG had a better mid then they coulda beat skt but nop.

honestly yagao and knight are decent but nothing special. lpl really needs a mid who can carry.
