MSI ADC Power Rankings

5. Hans Sama

I debated a lot about who to put between Noah and Hans Sama as the fifth-best ADC player going into the tournament. From a purely statistical point of view, Noah did better than Hans Sama in almost every single metric but I think a part of that was due to FNC playing for the Korean ADC and turning him into a pivotal element for the roster. At MSI, though, I feel like G2 will show that they can play through Hans equally well and potentially reach a higher ceiling.

4. Gumayusi

Gumayusi was one of the underperforming members during the LCK Spring Split. Compared to Zeus or Keria, his impact wasn’t felt as much. He’s still an extremely solid player and I’m sure he will be able to show his worth when it matters but for now, he’s probably a small tier below the rest.

3. JackeyLove

JackeyLove is back and I feel like he will be the X factor throughout the entire tournament. One of the most volatile players with one of the highest potential in history. This year, he has been more consistent compared to previous years, which is why he earned his spot in the top three. I don’t have much doubt he can go up a notch again but we’ll only find out at the tournament whether he can reach his peak potential.

2. Peyz

Peyz continues to deliver as Ruler’s successor on Gen.G in such an impressive way that it’s unbelievable. The guy is still only 18 years old yet his level of play and experience rivals some of the most long-standing veterans in the scene. He has been so consistent this year as well that we don’t know whether this is already his peak level or if he go beyond this. As long as he keeps up this form, though, he’s in the mix to become among the very best.

1. Elk

Ever since late-game carries became relevant in the meta, Elk has been one of the leading ADC players. He showed up last year at MSI and he did it again this season with the upgraded BLG roster. Not only does he have the highest damage output among all ADCs in the LPL but he has polished his laning phase as well, allowing him to always get in a commanding position to take over the games. If there is a player who can make the difference, it’s probably him.
