Riot Games Reveal 2026 International Tournament Locations: LoL Worlds ’26, MSI & First Stand
Riot Games have officially revealed the locations for all of the international tournaments in the 2026 League of Legends season, with events across South America, North America, and Asia.
Cross-regional tournaments are a rarity in League of Legends, making the likes of MSI and Worlds far mroe special than they already are. It gives every region a chance to demonstrate improvement, and for regions outside of Asia, the opportunity to prove they belong.
At Worlds 2025, specific cities were announced to be hosting these international events, and fans in the Americas are certainly going to be happy with what’s to come.
All Cross-Regional LoL Event Locations 2026
Here’s where each event is going to be in 2026, covering three continents:
First Stand
First Stand 2026 will be the first international tournament of the season. It will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from March 16-22, with eight teams playing a slate of Best-of-5 matches across the entire tournament.
MSI 2026
MSI is the annual precursor to Worlds, and usually gives us an insight into what to expect at the big one.
In 2026, MSI will be held in Daejeon, South Korea. The date is yet to be decided.
League of Legends Worlds 2026
With LoL Worlds 2025 ongoing, the excitement and build-up to next year’s event is already brewing.
In 2026, Worlds is returning to North America, spread across Allen, Texas, and New York City. Similar to MSI, dates for Worlds are yet to be decided, but as always, will likely be between October and early November.
No doubt this will feel disappointing for fans in other regions, especially EU, though they were able to play host to Worlds 2024 in Berlin, Paris, and London.
This will be the second time an international LoL tournament has been held in Brazil, the first being MSI 2017, which saw Faker’s SK Telecom T1 defeat G2 in the grand final.
