Riot Games has officially lifted the curtain on LEC Versus, as Europe’s best League of Legends teams clash with top regional challengers for a place on the international stage.

The tournament brings together all ten LEC organisations alongside two invited ERL representatives, promising a fast-paced format designed to showcase depth across the EMEA ecosystem.

LEC Teams Joined By ERL Guests

All ten LEC teams will compete at LEC Versus, joined by two ERL guest teams: Los Ratones and Karmine Corp Blue.

With a total of 12 teams in competition, the event is a direct showdown between the established LEC lineup and rising ERL talent, with every result carrying weight from day one.

LEC Versus Format

The opening stage of LEC Versus features a single round robin, where each team faces every other team once.

All matches in this phase will be played as best-of-1s, creating a high-pressure environment where consistency and preparation are crucial. With no second chances in individual games, even early upsets could dramatically shape the standings.

Following the round robin, the top 8 teams will advance to the Playoffs.

The Playoffs will use a double-elimination bracket, with best-of-3 matches in the early rounds, followed by best-of-5 matches in the later stages of the competition.

The stakes are high, with the winner of LEC Versus securing EMEA’s sole slot at First Stand, making the event a direct qualifier to international competition.

All match days at LEC Versus will begin at 5PM CET (4PM GMT), with games played at the Riot Games Arena.

With LEC teams, ERL challengers, and an international slot on the line, LEC Versus is set to be one of the most competitive EMEA events of the season.
