Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is currently one of the most loved games in the South Asian country. In July, 2025, the game will be completing its 4th anniversary. In this article, let’s look at the BGMI Anniversary date and the in-game event to celebrate this moment.

Within India, BGMI has become one of the most popular games. It’s consistently in the top 5 downloaded games on the Google Play Store. The game is the Indian edition of the very popular mobile game PUBG Mobile, which the Indian government banned in 2020. Krafton, however, on July 2, 2021, announced the release of BGMI within India. It was an exclusive version of the game for the Indian region. The major drawback was that players from other countries couldn’t play in this version.

Thus, the BGMI Anniversary date is July 2 each year.

What can players expect from the anniversary?

On the game’s first anniversary, a dedicated event was to celebrate this moment. This update included the famous Core Circle mode, which took inspiration from the popular Japanese animation EVANGELION. Similarly, BGMI has announced certain features that were added in the game to celebrate the 3rd anniversary. The BGMI 3.2 update, though, included the Mecha Fusion theme and the 3rd-anniversary mode.

On July 2, Krafton India launched the anniversary crate at BGMI. Similar to previous years, it included certain fan-favorite skins in the crate. One of the skin sets included in the anniversary crate was the Psychophase skin set.

Furthermore, there were various emotes available in it along with the Inferno Fiend skin in BGMI. This skin consists of a player engulfed in fire with the Mummy taping around them. Additionally, the Mummy M416 skin was available with it. According to the BGMI 3.2 Update Podcast by Krafton India, five unique items were released in the game for players to buy using UC.
