At the start of the year, Krafton India announced a partnership with Mumbai Indians for this season. This partnership was the first of its kind between a team from the Indian Premier League and a gaming publisher. Previously in the game, a voice pack has been released of the Mumbai Indian’s captain Hardik Pandya. In a recent announcement, BGMI has announced more details about its partnership with Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians is among the most recognized teams in the Indian Premier League, and the most successful, having won the league a record setting five times. Since the start of the 2024 season of IPL, Krafton India has hosted multiple contests for fans to watch a cricket match at the stadium.
The Mumbai Indians event is live in BGMI until the June 6. Within this event, players can complete various missions and challenges to unlock certain cosmetics in the game. As it is a one-time event, it must be stated that these skins will be available only for a short period to unlock.

To unlock the event, BGMI players must pay 500 UC in the game. These UCs can be purchased with real-world money. To earn the event coins, players will need to complete various missions. Using these coins, players can buy certain Mumbai Indian theme-based skins for the game. Below are some of the Mumbai Indians-themed items players can unlock in this event:
The game also includes a Mumbai Indians weapon skin, exclusively for the DP28 weapon. Finally, there is also a vehicle skin for the Darcia car. Each skin consists of either the team logo or the color scheme of the team’s cricket jersey.
