Carnival Gaming Pushes Their Strongest Foot Forward

Before BGMS 2024, Krafton India hosted its first official event of the year, the BGMI India Series (BGIS). In that tournament, many fans wished to see Rudra “Spower” B secure another trophy in his name, but this time with iQOO Soul. They finished second during that event, and Spower, following that event, left the team in quite a shocking move. Everyone wondered where he would be heading next, and the answer was Carnival Gaming.

During this tournament, Carnival Gaming hasn’t been in top form since the start, finishing the group stages in 12th position. The Spower and Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal duo have been incredible for the team in the fnials. Goblin is currently in second place on the list of players with the most kills. This can be seen in the total number of finishes the team makes. During day 2 of BGMS, Carnival gaming had an average of 9 finishes in each game. Entity Gaming is the only team that comes close to this stat, which sits in third place. Coupled with their consistency, they currently sit in first position.

Specific highlights from all the matches in the tournament during day 2 included an incredible 1v3 clutch by Manraj “Maxx” Kohli. Using the Uzi, the player could secure three finishes instantaneously and element the opponent squad. Team XSpark and iQOO Soul pulled their socks up during the event’s second day. iQOO Soul did get an incredible chicken dinner during the second match with ten finishes. Team XSpark, on the other hand, secured 20 points in the last game of the day.

Predictions for Day 3 of the BGMS Grand Finals

Match 1 of Day 3 might be the most chaotic we have seen. This is due to the Powerplay rule. For each player’s finish, double the points are obtained during the first zone. Teams in positions 5 to 11 will try to make the most of this. The gap between teams in 5th to 11th is just 28 points. During this tournament, we have also seen teams secure 20+ points in a single match.

Teams in the top 4 spots will play a bit more reserved. They will prefer early rotations to gain control of the zone and would ideally like to avoid early matchups and play the passive game. One prediction we can provide is that Global Esports will be one of the teams on a rampage. They will try to have drop clashes and play with a focus on aim duels. This is because teams can only obtain ten placement points during this event.
