The COD Mobile Season 8 update marks the addition of a brand-new perk known as Assassin. However, you must unlock this perk first before heading to the battlefield. Therefore, here’s a comprehensive guide on how to unlock the Assassin perk in COD Mobile and how to use it effectively.

To unlock the Assassin perk, you must level up the Season 8 battle pass in COD Mobile. Thankfully, it’s a part of the free reward, which means you don’t have to burn any real cash to acquire it. On the way, you can also get the LAG 53 AR in COD Mobile.
You have to farm a ton of XP and the fastest way to level up the battle pass is by participating in events, completing weekly challenges, tournaments, finishing contracts, etc. When you have enough XP, head to the battle pass section to obtain this new perk.
However, it’s worth noting that you have to equip it by heading to the COD Mobile loadout section located at the bottom of the main screen. Thankfully, the game allows you to bring a total of three perks to the multiplayer matches which means you pair it with two other perks to make a perfect combination.
In Call of Duty: Mobile, Assassin Perk marks high-threat enemies (players on a kill-streak) on the minimap after 90 seconds. For instance, if you’re on a killstreak and your opponent activates Assassin Perk, your real-time location will be marked on the minimap. As a result, enemies can easily find and eliminate you to receive extra score bonuses in the match.
However, in other Call of Duty titles like Modern Warfare 3, Assassin Perk allows you to dodge enemy surveillance and stay off the radar when it’s equipped.
So if you’re playing MW3, you are hidden from enemy UAVs and other electronic detection tools once you activate the Assassin Perk. In fact, you’re also invisible to UAVs portable radars, and heartbeat sensors, which means the enemy won’t spot you on their minimap. Pairing Assassin with other stealthy perks like Dead Silence can make you even harder to find.
