Before a new update goes live in video games, the developers prefer to test the new features in the testing server to rule out all the bugs and glitches. Well, CoD Mobile developers also follow this approach, which means if you want to get your hands on the new features before their official release, you’ll need to hop into the CoD Mobile test server.

The steps to download the CoD Mobile Public Test Build vary depending on your platform:

Android

Follow these steps to download the Test Server on your Android smartphone:

1. Download the APK file using the link below.
2. Open the file manager and then head to the downloads folder.
3. Locate and tap the APK to install it on your device.
4. Enable “Unknown Sources” in your Android settings if required.
5. Once the installation is finished, open the test server from the launcher.
6. Continue with the guest account to start playing.

Before you leave, there are a few points that you should bear in mind. The test server, as the name suggests, conducts the initial testing of the new features. So, you’re more likely to encounter dozens of bugs and errors like 74031, and your overall experience might not be great compared to that of the global app. However, you can report the glitches through the bug report feature on the main lobby screen.

Apart from this, your game progress is not linked to the live build, and all progress will be deleted once the test concludes. Although COD Points purchases are disabled in the test server, you’ll be initially rewarded with a few points to make purchases.
