COD Mobile Season 8 Patch Notes Leaked; Oden Buff & LMGs Flinch Reductions

COD Mobile Season 7 is currently mid way with ranked modes being absolutely swarmed by BP50 and Oden users. Data miners have already got their hands on the season 8 patch notes and looks like the BP50 meta is going to last for yet another season. Adding to the disappointment list, the Oden is receiving another unexpected buff.

COD Mobile Season 8 Patch Notes Leaked; Oden Receives Another Buff, LMGs Slammed with Flinch Reductions

After significant buffs across the Assault Rifle (AR) category in the season 7 patch update, the AR meta is set to persist next season as well. The season 8 patch is focused on reducing hit flinch for most LMGs, making them less effective across all ranges. Players can check out the detailed season 8 patch notes below. COD Mobile Weapon Balance Changes in Season 8 Patch Notes

Light Machine Guns (LMGs)

S36:

Flinch reduced from 0.9 to 0.7

UL 736:

Flinch reduced from 0.8 to 0.65

RPD:

Flinch reduced from 0.9 to 0.75

M4LMG:

Flinch reduced from 0.8 to 0.7

Chopper:

Flinch reduced from 0.8 to 0.65

Holger 26:

Flinch reduced from 0.9 to 0.72

Dingo:

Flinch reduced from 0.9 to 0.7

Bruen Mk9:

Flinch reduced from 0.8 to 0.7
Headshot multiplier increased from 1.2x to 1.35x

Assault Rifles

Groza:

Bullet Spread Accuracy (BSA) improved from 23(9) to 20(9)

EM2:

(Taskforce Barrel) Horizontal recoil penalty reduced from +30% to +15%

Oden:

(Colossus Suppressor) ADS time penalty reduced from +16% to +12%
(Monolithic Suppressor) BSA penalty removed

SMGs

Switchblade X9:

Increased vehicle damage

LAPA:

Hipfire spread improved from 200(120) to 170(120)

Cordite:

ADS time reduced from 220ms to 200ms
(OWC Foregrip) ADS time penalty reduced from +14% to +10%

Throwables and Operator Skills

Thermite:

Duration increased from 4s to 5s

Flash Drone:

Radius increased from 15m to 18m
Increased flight speed
(Fast Reload) Added +4% movement speed buff and +4% ADS movement speed

Shadow Blade:

Recharge speed increased

Death Machine:

Now has a 10% damage resistance

HS0405:

(Thunder Rounds) Increased leg multiplier to 1.1x

Battle Royale Classes

Pumped:

Increased fuel capacity

Airborne:

Increased movement speed and recharge rate

Revive Drone:

Increased revive radius

Activision has not yet confirmed the official release date for COD: Mobile Season 8. However, based on the current battle pass end date and the usual release schedule, the next Season update is expected to go live on August 28, 2024.
