Battle Royale Scope: Warzone Mobile gets this one, without a doubt

It’s no secret that COD Mobile is heavily inspired by both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone PC, as it includes both multiplayer and battle royale modes. At the same time, Warzone Mobile, as the name suggests, is the portable version of Warzone PC, offering only the battle royale mode.

Despite both games having a BR mode, Warzone Mobile provides a much better experience in terms of battle royale, featuring elements like the Gulag and loadout drops. As a result, you won’t find these exclusive elements in COD Mobile.

COD Mobile vs Warzone Mobile Gameplay Graphics: Which is better?

It’s hard to say, but COD Mobile offers a much more realistic graphic experience compared to Warzone Mobile. During our testing, we observed that Warzone Mobile suffers from blurry textures and is poorly optimized in terms of visuals. Even at the highest graphics settings, Warzone Mobile failed to meet our expectations.

COD Mobile, on the other hand, has better textures, lighting effects, and improved draw distances. The best part is you can achieve up to 120 FPS in COD Mobile on certain devices by slightly lowering the graphics quality.

The reason for this could be because of the huge maps in Warzone Mobile with up to 100 players. To ensure optimization across a wide variety of devices while conserving the large-scale BR experience, Activision had to make some sacrifices.

Content Updates

COD Mobile was launched back in 2019, and the developers are still delivering regular seasonal updates to keep players engaged. For instance, the recent Orbital Raiders season brought a new weapon to the arsenal pool and a brand-new battle pass filled with a variety of cosmetics.

Thankfully, Warzone Mobile is also delivering regular content updates aligned with its PC counterparts. The recent major update brought the iconic Zombie Royale mode to the game, followed by a new multiplayer map known as Hardhat.

Progression System

Warzone Mobile inarguably has a huge advantage over COD Mobile when it comes to the progression system. Remember when you first linked your Warzone Mobile to your Activision account? The developers require this process to synchronize all of your progress between different Call of Duty titles.

For example, if you unlock the DTI-R 30-06 battle rifle in Warzone Mobile, you can use this weapon right away in Modern Warfare 3 as well as Warzone PC. This connected progress feature has been missing in COD Mobile since its launch, though.

Pacing and Gameplay Style

If you love an aggressive playstyle in shooting games, you’ll definitely enjoy playing COD Mobile, as this game tends to offer faster-paced matches, especially in its multiplayer mode.

Warzone Mobile, on the other hand, has a more methodical pace since it’s a battle-royale-centric title. As a result, you need to be strategic when it comes to managing your inventory and carefully plan all of your movements to dominate the battleground.

Warzone mobile is the faster paced game. Do note it also has multiplayer modes. So it seems unfair to complain CODM multiplayer to Warzone battle royale aspect, when CODM has a battle royale has well.

So basically, warzone has faster paced fights and is what I would consider the more aggressive game. Going from warzone to CODM, makes CODM feel so slow. When in warzone you’ve got to on your toes for full length games, whether multiplayer or battle royale. CODM just doesn’t offer that, take movement for example, it feels slower and more constricted in codm

Yeah that is true actually, but it’s a bit too graphic intensive, so I see CODM as more an all round FPS as it can be played on high graphics on Mid range and flagship devices

The feature you say CODM is missing might be because CODM is not directly made by Activision in conjunction with Tencent
