Now, Garena has officially confirmed that the game is tying up with Naruto Shippuden in a press note to the media. Unfortunately for fans, they will have to wait a little while to see the Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden collaboration in the game. This is because Garena has revealed that the partnership will be released in early 2025. The exact date hasn’t been revealed, but players will have to wait for more than six months at least to see it happen.
But, what can fans expect from this collaboration? The developer has confirmed that some of Narutos’s iconic characters will be added to the game. Additionally, a “special map” will also arrive which will have Naruto-related elements too.
While Garena hasn’t announced who the characters are that will make their way in-game, fans can expect the top ones to be added, ensuring that the developer doesn’t leave players disappointed after such a long wait.
This isn’t the first major collaboration by Garena’s Free Fire, nor the first one where characters are being added to the game. One of the most significant ones came back in December 2020 when the game announced a tie-up with the star footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo. As a part of this, the Portuguese football star still has a character in Free Fire based on him, called Chrono.
Other collaborations include McLaren, One Punch Man, Demon Slayer, and more. With 2025 still a bit far, players will have to wait a little while to get their hands on the Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden collab. Until then, Garena will surely be revealing other engaging content to keep the high Free Fire player count hooked.
