MLBB Reveal 2025 Esports Roadmap, Pushes M7 to January 2026

All the details were officially announced during the M6 Summit in Malaysia where the company unveiled a year jam-packed with competitive events for the world’s most popular mobile esports title. So, without any further ado, here’s a detailed rundown of the MLBB 2025 Esports roadmap.

MLBB Esports has an exciting year ahead in 2025. The big highlights are the return of two major events:

  • MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025: Set to take place from mid-July to early August in Saudi Arabia.
  • M7 World Championship: This will be the seventh edition of the M World Championships which is happening in January 2026 in Indonesia.

The MLBB Professional League (MPL) will also continue with its two-season format:

  • First half: March to June.
  • Second half: August to November.

Mike Chu—the Head of Regional Esports & China at MOONTON Games—talked about how MLBB esports is growing worldwide. He highlighted that, teams from four different regions made it to the Semi Finals of the M6 World Championship for the first time.

Third-Party Collaborations and SEA Games Debut

There are also some exciting third-party events such as the Snapdragon Pro Series which will include:

  • Mobile Challenge Finals in February 2025.
  • Mobile Masters in April 2025.
  • A new season from August to November 2025.

MLBB will also be part of the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2025 in Thailand with both men’s and women’s medal events.

Magic Chess: Go Go Esports Ecosystem

Magic Chess: Go Go — a new strategy game in the MLBB universe — will have its own esports ecosystem. Competitions will start in Indonesia and expand to Southeast Asia. The game has already gotten over 10 million pre-registrations.

M6 Summit Highlights

MOONTON Games teamed up with the Jordan Esports Federation (JEF) by signing an agreement to boost gaming and esports in Jordan at the M6 Summit. They plan to work together to organize MLBB tournaments and hold national qualifiers to discover talented Jordanian players who can compete internationally.
