MOONTON, the publisher of MLBB, announced the launch of their new game, Magic Chess Go Go (MGCC). Recently, Moonton announced that the game will be released worldwide on May 28th.

Magic Chess Go Go (MGCC) is a free-to-play mobile strategy game in the auto chess category. It will be released for Android, iOS devices, and PC. The game will primarily consist of a PVP mode and include new “Chibi” versions of various MLBB Heroes.

In February, the game was available to pre-register within Southeast Asia. During that time, the game received over 20 million pre-registrations within the selected region.

With the launch of Magic Chess Go Go, the game will sync with its APAC counterpart with the start of season 2 in-game. The game is set in the universe of MLBB, shifting the dynamics from a MOBA game to a strategy-based game.

The game consists of a chess-like battlefield where players can use commanders. These commanders have unique skills and abilities. These commanders synergize with various MLBB heroes based on their skills and class.

Eight players will simultaneously engage in player-versus-player combat within the game. The goal is to be the last one standing at the end of the game.

New Season, New Synergies, New Systems

As stated above, the game’s global launch will be parallel to the launch of Magic Chess Go Go Season 2. The new season will be themed based on the class between the Gods and Demons. Six new Synergies will be added within the game, bringing the total number to 10 in the new season.

Some 4-Gold and 5-Gold heroes have been added to Magic Chess Go Go in the new season. These are heroes that have been previously seen in MLBB. Below is a list of the new 5-Gold heroes:

Another feature that will be added to the game is blessings. This feature was present in the original Magic Chess game mod within MLBB. Within this mechanic, players with three or more of the same heroes ascended to the same level may trigger a Blessing. Once triggered, it will add Synergy or Role to the players’ team.
