The finals of the PUACL 2025 will take place on March 29 and 30, 2025, giving the team enough time to prepare for their travel and better understand their opponents. In the group stage, GodLike had a rough start and finished in seventh place, which disappointed many fans.
GodLike Esports cruised through the tough Pokemon UNITE ACL India League playoffs stage, though. They played their first match against Marcos Gaming and defeated them 2-0. On the way to their final match against Revenant XSpark, they defeated True Rippers, Gods Reign, Reckoning Esports, S8UL, and Global Esports – all with scorelines of 2-1.
They faced their toughest competition against RNTX, which was also a powerful competitor. Before this match, Revenant XSpark had a good run in the competition and was also the table topper. This match was a do or die situation for both teams, and when push came to shove, GodLike Esports powered through. However, GodLike Esports also won that match with a scoreline of 2-1 and won the tournament.
With this, GodLike Esports has won a total prize of $16,000, and the first runner-up, RNTX has received $8,000. Global Esports got $6,000 for coming in third and S8UL and Reckoning Esports bagged $4,000 and $2,000, each. The bottom two teams, Gods Reign and True Rippers also took home a prize of $1,200 and $800, respectively.
The PUACL Finals in Japan is one of the international events for the game besides the Pokemon UNITE World Championship.
