S-Tier: Which is the best PUBG Mobile weapon?

M416

Type: Assault Rifle
Ammo: 5.56mm
Why it’s S-Tier: M416 is by far the best Assault Rifles in PUBG Mobile. If you’re looking for a gun with minimal recoil and massive damage rate then you should definitely get your hands on the M416. Make sure to equip essential attachments like a suppressor extended mag and vertical grip to get the most out of it.

AWM

Type: Sniper Rifle
Ammo: .300 Magnum
Why it’s S-Tier: It’s no secret that AWM is the king of the sniper rifles segment. It’s the only bolt action sniper rifle that takes down the enemies in a single shot even if they’re wearing the level 3 vest or helmet. However it’s worth noting that AWM is not a part of the ground loot. Instead it can only be found inside air drops and its bullets are also exclusive to these supply drops.

DP-28

Type: Light Machine Gun
Ammo: 7.62mm
Why it’s S-Tier: The DP-28 is one of the best picks for mid to long-range fights. Its magazine size is the huge plus point of this weapon as it can hold a whopping 47x 7.62mm bullets simultaneously without any attachments.

A-Tier: Good enough, but not the best

Beryl M762

Type: Assault Rifle
Ammo: 7.62mm
Why it’s A-Tier: The Beryl M762 is definitely a strong contender to the M416 as it can deal more damage than the AK47 and M416. However it’s significant recoil is the massive downside of this weapon. So if you’re someone who can handle recoil then consider picking up the Beryl M762 from the ground.

MK14 EBR

Type: Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR)
Ammo: 7.62mm
Why it’s A-Tier: The MK14 is one of the most powerful DMRs in PUBG Mobile. The main highlight of this weapon is that it can be used both as a sniper rifle and an assault rifle by switching its burst mode. On top of that the weapon using the 7.62mm bullets is known for significant damage and great recoil and MK14 is no exception.

Kar98k

Type: Sniper Rifle
Ammo: 7.62mm
Why it’s A-Tier: If a PUBG player doesn’t know about the Kar98k they must be living under a rock. It’s one of the most iconic sniper rifles of the PUBG Mobile that has the potential to take down enemies in a single shot if they’re not wearing the level 3 helmet. We also highly recommend using it during PUBG Mobile tournaments.

B-Tier: Gets the job done

UMP45

Type: Submachine Gun (SMG)
Ammo: .45 ACP
Why it’s B-Tier: Sub-machine guns are well known for their close-range combats and UMP45 is no exception. The weapon has the second-highest damage among all SMGs and you can easily control its recoil without even adding any attachments.

M24

Type: Sniper Rifle
Ammo: 7.62mm
Why it’s B-Tier: M24 is inarguably a more powerful sniper rifle than the Kar98k. However like AWM it can only be found in the airdrops but it cannot take down enemies in a single shot. Therefore we’ve placed it in the B-Tier.

Vector

Type: Submachine Gun (SMG)
Ammo: 9mm
Why it’s B-Tier: The Vector for instance is a fierce weapon in close-quarters combat due to the insane fire rate it offers. However it offers less magazine size compared to the others which can be a disadvantage especially when confronted with stronger enemies in a long range fight.

C-Tier: Can come in handy sometimes

VSS

Type: Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR)
Ammo: 9mm
Why it’s C-Tier: The VSS is a good SMG in close-quarters combat due to its fast rate of fire and damage allowing players to take out opponents fairly quickly. It is well-suited for combat within structures particularly in urban environments. However as you maneuver and attempt to shoot from a distance it becomes much less effective.

S12K

Type: Shotgun
Ammo: 12 Gauge
Why it’s C-Tier: The S12K is an automatic shotgun that is particularly lethal at close quarters and can also be used to climb the rank ladder. It is very effective in close combat, but its efficiency significantly decreases at a greater distance.

Crossbow

Type: Crossbow
Ammo: Bolts
Why it’s C-Tier: The strengths of the crossbow lie in its silent operation and lethality when fired accurately. However its weaknesses include a slow rate of fire and difficulty in aiming making it mostly impractical in most situations. It is more of a fun skill-based weapon rather than a practical choice most of the time.

D-Tier: Try to find better loot if you land on these weapons

Tommy Gun

Type: Submachine Gun (SMG)
Ammo: .45 ACP
Why it’s D-Tier: The Tommy Gun has a large magazine capacity but lacks a rail for sights which hampers its accuracy. It’s okay to use if you have no other choice but there are superior SMGs available.

P1911

Type: Pistol
Ammo: .45 ACP
Why it’s D-Tier: As with any faction-locked weapon the P1911 is a rather simple sidearm with low damage and limited ammunition. It’s only useful at the start of the game before you find a superior weapon.

S686

Type: Shotgun
Ammo: 12 Gauge
Why it’s D-Tier: The S686 is a shotgun with high damage at short distances but its two-round magazine and very slow reload times make it a risky choice overall.
