In celebration of their upcoming phone, the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Series, OnePlus hosted a launch event for the phone in China where it announced the first-ever VALORANT Mobile esports tournament. During the launch event for OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Series, Jin Yibo from Tencent Games joined as the representative for VALORANT Mobile. In the event, Jin spoke about more details about the partnership between OnePlus and Riot Games. The upcoming OnePlus ACE 5 Supreme Edition will be tuned to optimize gameplay for VALORANT Mobile at the highest level.
During his speech, he announced that the OnePlus ACE 5 Supreme Edition will be the official phone for the first-ever VALORANT esports tournament in July. Currently, the only available information about this tournament is that it will take place in China. Recently, we have seen in the most recent build of the game a custom room feature. Therefore, this indicates that the game is optimized for esports tournaments.
In the same event, Yibo announced that in June, there will be a VALORANT Mobile Demo event in China. This will be the first time fans in China will be able to test out VALORANT Mobile. This will be a collaboration between OnePlus and Riot Games. Within this demo event, fans can test out the game on the OnePlus ACE 5 Supreme Edition. Concluding his speech, Jin Yibo announced that all OnePlus phones will be optimized for VALORANT Mobile.
Currently, we know that the next beta of VALORANT Mobile is slated to go live in June in China. In this build, there are a lot of features released, such as the sniper Outlaw, as well as the release of Sage. If the demo of the game is scheduled for July, it appears that VALORANT Mobile might launch around September in China.
