VALORANT Mobile Public Testing Date Revealed

As posted by prominent leaker @ValorantMobileX on Twitter (now X), the first public test will start on June 12, 2025 in China. Pre-registrations opened back in April, and apparently over 10 million gamers signed up in the first two days. Those who pre-register get exclusive in-game rewards like limited-edition player cards for completing simple missions during the test.

Although this initial phase is limited to China, Riot promises that feedback from this test will shape the global rollout. No exact dates yet for regions like India or North America, but if all goes well, we should see more tests and eventually a full release soon after.

About VALORANT Mobile Gameplay

VALORANT Mobile wants to be as close to the original as possible: 5v5 matches, agent abilities, and the kind of strategic team play that made the PC version huge. Of course, controls and UI have been completely reworked for touchscreens, so it doesn’t feel clunky on your phone.

But it won’t just be a straight port. Mobile gamers will get:

  • Shorter match times (think 5-10 minutes instead of full-length rounds)
  • A new Team Deathmatch mode for quick, arcade-style action
  • An in-depth training area to practice jump-peeking, jiggle peeking, and more
  • A replay feature so you can watch your best-and-worst moments

At launch, there’ll be 16 agents, including fan favorites like Jett, Sage, and Sova. Six classic maps return, plus two new ones made just for mobile: Shipyard and Ancient Village.

Can My Phone Run It?

Riot is aiming for broad compatibility, and even mid-range phones are expected to offer stable gameplay at maximum FPS. Check out the detailed VALORANT Mobile device requirements.

What’s Next?

As the China test rolls out, everyone else is waiting eagerly. If the feedback is positive, Riot should announce global tests soon. Keep an eye on official channels for updates and get ready: VALORANT Mobile is about to bring tactical shooting to your pocket.
