Valorant Mobile Device Requirements leak include low-end devices

Riot Games’ much-anticipated mobile spin on its hit tactical shooter, VALORANT Mobile, is apparently in the final stages of development, with spot tests already running in China. But a recent post by @ValorantMobileX on X has seemingly revealed the Valorant Mobile Device Requirements, even though Riot Games hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

There’s still no official release date, but these leaked specs give our first real hint at how Riot’s planning to optimize VALORANT for phones. By aiming for pretty modest hardware, it seems Riot really wants the game to be playable for as many people as possible-even on lower-end devices.

Valorant Mobile Minimum Requirements for Android (as per leaks)

According to the leak, Android users will need:

  • Processor: Snapdragon 450, MediaTek P60, Kirin 710, or a newer equivalent
  • OS Version: Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later
  • RAM: At least 3 GB
  • Storage: Minimum of 16 GB free

Those numbers suggest Riot’s cool with midrange-and even some budget-phones running the game. This will ensure a broad installation base upon launch. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the most downloaded mobile games in history.

Valorant Mobile Minimum Device Requirements for iOS

On the Apple side, the rumored specs are even more straightforward:

  • Devices Supported: iPhone 6s and newer
  • iOS Version: iOS 12 or later
  • Storage: At least 16 GB available

Given the long lifespan of iOS updates, this should cover the vast majority of active iPhone models in circulation today.

But if you are looking for maximum performance, go for these devices, which might also offer you 120 FPS support for Valorant Mobile down the line.

By setting the bar this low, Riot is clearly trying to keep Valorant’s trademark smoothness and precision on mobile, even if your hardware isn’t top-of-the-line. A laggy, unresponsive shooter wouldn’t feel like Valorant at all, so these requirements matter a lot.

Until Riot Games steps up with confirmed specs and a release window, everything’s just rumor. Keep an eye on Riot’s official channels for the most reliable updates. Riot’s already open for pre-registration there, sweetening the deal with exclusive rewards and using community feedback to polish performance.

While no exact launch date is on the table yet, leaks and analysts reckon a global rollout could land in mid-to-late 2025-assuming these early trials go well. Recent updates have also revealed that the VALORANT Mobile playtest will have these 14 Agents from the original lineup.
