In 2019, Krafton hosted the inaugural PUBG Nation Cup in Seoul, South Korea. Back then, the tournament had a total prize pool of $500,000, with 16 teams participating. The inaugural champions of the tournament were the Russian national team. Following that, the second PUBG Nation Cup took place in 2022 after the pandemic. Since then, it has become an annual event.
During the PUBG Nations Cup 2024, the tournament experienced its highest viewership and fan engagement. Taking note of this, Krafton has announced that PUBG Nation Cup 2025 will consist of 24 Nations. Additionally, the tournament will be held in Seoul, South Korea.

PNC 2025 is scheduled to be hosted between the 3rd and 4th week of July at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul. Back in December 2024, Krafton had announced the Esports Roadmap for the year 2025.
