Latest Rocket League Free Agency Transfers and Rostermania Rumors
Rocket League’s rostermania has already seen many European rosters announce that they will not be moving forward together into RLCS 22-23. Big names such as SMPR Esports, Luminosity Gaming, Endpoint CeX, Dignitas, Guild Esports and NAVI are all set to disband, as many teams are unhappy with how their season went. As of right now not many new teams have been announced, as over the next few months all of the players will be looking to decide their rosters before the season starts.
Rocket League Rostermania Rumors
Despite Dignitas being a top 2 European team in the Fall split, it is rumored that being unable to qualify for the Spring Major and exiting the World Championship in Top 16 has led the players to go their separate ways heading into RLCS 22-23.
Joris “Joreuz” Robben looks to reunite with ex-teammate Archie “archie” Pickthall from Endpoint CeX (who have also announced they will be splitting up for similar reasons to Dignitas), and the future is unknown for Jack “ApparentlyJack” Benton and Kyle “Scrub Killa” Robertson.
After a very disappointing second half of last season, the ex-00 Nation duo of Breezi and FlamE (along with their coach Ethzn) were looking for a new third going into RLCS 22-23 with the departure of Hibbs at the start of the off season. The team has since announced their chosen third to be up-and-coming prospect Noahsaki, with hopes that this new addition can revive the team and help them create an impact next season.
After being replaced by Enzo “Seikoo” Grondein on the World Championship winning roster Team BDS, Marc “MaRc_By_8.” Domingo is set to return for next season in a fully spanish lineup alongside Sergio “AtomiK” Pérez Cortés and Ivan “DORITO#@” Ruiz Jiménez. This orgless team (who will play under the name “ARG”) will be out for revenge, with Marc looking to prove that he is too good to be sat on a bench.
North American teams kick off their Transfer Season
Over in North America, the main roster headline has seen veteran Slater “retals” Thomas kicked from Spacestation Gaming. Much to the fans’ surprise, the decision was finalized soon after their disappointing Top 12 finish at the RLCS World Championship. The duo of Tshaka “Arsenal” Lateef Taylor Jr and Daniel “Daniel” Piecenski are rumoured to be moving forward into RLCS 22-23 with Logan “Lj.” Wilt, who is currently still signed to Oxygen Gaming.
FaZe Clan is another top North American team that is potentially looking to make a change. Despite a very impressive top 4 finish at the World Championships, it is rumoured that FaZe are looking to remove Austin “AYYJAYY” Aebi from the roster and potentially pick up Nick “mist” Costello, who has recently announced his departure from OpTic Gaming as an unrestricted free agent.
Despite being at the top of North America in RLCSX, Rogue have struggled to compete at the top of NA this season and as a result are looking to make a change. Nick “Chronic” Iwanski has recently been rumored to join the roster alongside Jirair “Gyro” Papazian and Christopher “Aqua” Campbell, in place of Alexandre “Taroco” Reis Pedrogam.
