SIS and Hard Rock Bet Expand Esports Portfolio With Launch of eFootball
Hard Rock Bet has announced the launch of new esports on its platform, adding eFootball through its partnership with SIS.
The betting platform owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida partnered with SIS last year, allowing users to gamble on its Head-to-Head Global Gaming League (H2HGGL) contests.
The H2HGGL product, developed by SIS, offers short-form, head-to-head esports matches featuring professional gamers.
The launch of eFootball adds to eSoccer and eBasketball, which Hard Rock Bet has offered users since August last year.

Round The Clock Betting
Michele Fischer, Vice President at SIS Content Services, said: “H2HGGL eFootball offers American bettors around the clock opportunities to engage in one of the most popular US sports. It provides Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook with another compelling, commercially successful product that adheres to the strictest integrity standards synonymous with SIS.”
Users will be able to gamble on the contests 24 hours a day, with two constant streams that may expand later. In total, there will be 25,000 eFootball events per year, taking the number of H2HGGL events up to 275,000.
The league features a roster of professional gamers, whose competitive matchups are streamed with ultra-low latency allowing numerous pre-game and in-play betting markets.
Hard Rock Bet Strengthens Gambling Options
Hard Rock Bet announced that the games were live in a Facebook post on Thursday, with the caption, “Let’s Go”.
Neil Walsh, SVP-Sportsbook, at Hard Rock Digital, said: “We’re excited to expand our partnership with SIS and be one of the first operators to introduce this new, always-on football experience to our players. Adding H2H Global Gaming League™ eFootball strengthens our markets and esports offering and reflects our ongoing focus on bringing innovative, high-quality content to our players.”
The platform has been expanding its gambling options and launched “Games powered by Past Motor Racing” in October.
The games have been accused of being slots in disguise as they function in much the same way, but use results of past motor races rather than random number generators.
In addition to Hard Rock Bet, the H2HGGL has also been available for users at bet365, FanDuel, and Rivalry across 12 states. The launch of eFootball appears to be exclusive to Hard Rock Bet for the timebeing.
