Before their first match in the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 Pacific, Global Esports has launched their 2024 jersey. Santanu Hazarika, a prominent multidisciplinary artist, has designed the new jersey. The 2024 Global Esports VALORANT Jersey has a lot going for it, with quite a few references to their VCT Player Card.
“I have always been inspired by gaming as an artist since I was a child. And I am a gamer myself! I instantly connected with the GE team as we both have a common ground regarding pop culture and gaming,” said Santanu Hazarika.

For designing the jersey, Santanu primarily drew inspiration from the ‘GE Lion’ depicted in Global Esports’ VCT Player Card. The ‘GE Lion’ has now been transformed into a visceral, sublime, and surreal piece of clothing in the three colors of Global Esports.
Furthermore, the jersey represents the team reinventing its gameplay, ethos, vision, and victory. In their previous jersey, there were references to the lion being a focal part of the Global Esports ethos. Fans got a glimpse of it during the Abhirup ‘Lightningfast’ Choudhury documentary that Global Esports made.
“Our jersey design has been based on our brand colors for the last decade. Generally, jerseys are looked at from the perspective of it being a uniform. However, we wanted to do something different. That’s where Santanu stepped in to add his unique art layer,” said Rushindra Sinha, the Founder and CEO of Global Esports.
Global Esports will be seen live in action in their new jerseys at the VCT Pacific. GE’s first match is on April 6 against Zeta Division. This will be the third match between the two teams this year, with Zeta Division winning the previous two games.
During the VCT Pacific Kickoff earlier this year, Global Esports won their game against Bleed Esports, consisting of El ‘yay’ Diablo. They missed out on the play-ins phase of the event, though, due to losing to Zeta Division in their do-or-die match. During VCT Pacific Stage 1, Global Esports will be taking on against Zeta Division and DRX in the first week of the tournament.
