Just for peace of mind before you begin deleting your VALORANT account. Like with many account-based platforms, Riot Games provides a thirty-day grace period. You can reverse the account deletion process if you change your mind, or feel you’ve made a mistake. However, if the thirty-day period has passed, your account will be lost to the shadow realm, and you’ll have to create a new account to play VALORANT esports.

Deleting your VALORANT account could not be simpler, just head over to the Riot Games account deletion support page. From there, Riot will require you to provide your identity as the account owner to ensure data protection is in play. Once you have proven your identity, Riot will begin the process of deleting your account. As mentioned above, you have thirty days before your account is gone for good.

An alternative method to delete your account

Suppose the above method doesn’t work. Don’t worry; Riot provides another (slightly slower) method for deleting your VALORANT account. You can submit a ticket using the account delete button on the same page. We only recommend this process if there is no way to delete your VALORANT account with Riot Games. Riot will ask you to submit a ticket with the support system and provide the following information:

The account you use to sign into VALORANT, League of Legends, Wild Rift, etc.
Your Summoner Name.
Which server do you play on (Europe, North America, etc.)
Creation date of your Riot Games account.
The location from which you registered the account (city and country).
The email you originally used to create the account on.
