This is similar to the VAN 52 and VAN 69 errors seen in previous updates. This error commonly occurs when there is a new update to the game, but fans are on the older build of the game.

Another situation that might cause a VAL 62 error in VALORANT is a server maintenance period. Because of this, fans of the game won’t be able to log into the game and play. If a new update causes this issue while the player plays the game, they must restart their system.
