How to recover my VALORANT account

In 2024, VALORANT has become one of the most popular games in the world. With this popularity, a lot of players have multiple accounts or don’t play as frequently. Thus, they might forget their password and lose access to their VALORANT account. Other ways of losing access are potential hacks. In this article, let’s look at how players can recover their lost VALROANT account.

How do I recover my VALORANT account?

One must note that VALORANT players cannot recover deleted accounts, as once the accounts are deleted, they are gone forever. But, if you have just uninstalled VALORANT on your PC, you can recover it easily. Below are the steps for players to recover their accounts after they have been lost or compromised:

Head over to the recover your account section in VALORANT support.
Scroll down until one can see the Account Recovery heading.
Click on the button named: Begin Account Recovery.

After clicking the button, fill in your username and Riot ID.
You must answer the question: Have you played League of Legends on this account? This is because the Riot ID might be same for the League of Legends and VALORANT accounts.
After that, you will have to fill in their date of birth and click on the button labeled next.

If you are still unable to recover your ID, though, then click on the “Submit A Ticket” button. Below are the steps on how to do this in VALORANT:

On the option “Choose a Request Type,” click on the Recover My Account Option
After that, fill in your registered email ID and the region from where you reside.
Following that, you can specify the reason by selecting the option “how did you lose access to your account?”
In the subject section, players can write why their account gets compromised.
In the description section, players can write in detail about the event and attach photos to show the issue at hand. After that, players can click on the submit button.

After this is done, Riot will analyze your request and grant relief based on your issue. Usually, players do get access back to their accounts after a little while so don’t worry.
