The highly anticipated VALORANT console beta is finally here and if you’re wondering how to download it, then look no further. During the 2024 Summer Game Fest, it was revealed that VALORANT would be expanding to consoles, and both Xbox and PS5 will feature custom-built gameplay for VALORANT, maintaining the game’s core competitive nature.
So, without any further ado, here’s how to sign up for the VALORANT Beta and download it once it goes live.
The game developers have confirmed that the VALORANT Console beta will go live on June 14, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation5 (PS5) consoles. However, the beta will be limited to a few regions – the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan, during the initial testing phase. Thankfully, it will also be rolled out to remaining global regions shortly thereafter.
Unfortunately, the VALORANT Console won’t support features like crossplay, which means PC players can’t play with VALORANT on PS5 and Xbox players. Thankfully, VALORANT players on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 will have a connected, shared inventory and gameplay progression tied to their VALORANT account. But, the game won’t be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
