There are a few specific things you need if you want to make a Korean VALORANT account. You can’t just switch your current account over to Korea due to Riot’s country-specific restrictions. You’ll need a fresh Riot Games account that’s registered in Korea.

This is probably the trickiest part. Riot requires a Korean phone number for account verification as part of its two-factor authentication system. Simply using a VPN to pretend you’re in Korea won’t cut it unless you have access to a legit Korean number. Also, many online games in Korea including VALORANT, require a valid KSSN for age verification to ensure players are 16 or older.

How to make a Korean VALORANT account

- You’ll need to input a valid Korean phone number and complete any other verification steps.
Download VALORANT:

- Once the game is installed and you log in with your new Korean account, you’ll automatically connect to the Korean servers.

Some people try to get around the phone number and KSSN requirements by using a VPN to appear like they’re in Korea. You still won’t be able to create a Korean Riot account without a real Korean number and other details. Finally, using a VPN can mess with your connection and Riot might ban your account for breaking their terms of service.
