The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational is back for its second edition. Taking place on Jan. 13 and 14, the tournament will see four North American teams competing for the title and a share of the $50,000 prize pool. The event is an official VALORANT OFF//SEASON tournament and will be hosted by none other than Ludwig and Tarik themselves.

Ludwig x Tarik Invitational 2 will feature four teams who will be competing in a double-elimination bracket. This year, the teams who will be taking part in the tournament are as follows:
From the above-stated teams, both Cloud9 and 100 Thieves are a part of the VCT Americas League. It’s interesting to note that Sentinels aren’t a part of this event. Tarik is a part of Sentinels as a content creator, and it’s made many speculate why they aren’t a part of the event. Nonetheless, this will be the first major event in North America with the new Episode 8 ACT 1 patch.
The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational 2 will start on the 13th of January at 6 PM GMT. The first two matches are between Cloud9 and Moist x Shopify with the second game being between 100 Thieves and Oxygen Esports. Fans can catch all the action live on Ludwig’s YouTube channel and Tarik’s Twitch channel.

Additionally, the tournament will feature a Draft Showmatch between Team Ludwig and Team Tarik. It will contain prominent content creators including Tenz, Masayoshi, Pokimane, and Peter Park.

In the inaugural edition last year, we got to see teams such as The Guard, T1, Sentinels, and TSM be a part of the event. The Guard had won that event against TSM in the finals and then went on to win the VCT Ascension Americas 2023 as well.
