Omen Temporarily Removed From VALORANT Due to Game-Breaking Bug
Can it be a normal anniversary for VALORANT, despite something in the game going wrong? This time, it concerns one of the most popular agents within the game, Omen. In a recent development, it has been widely reported by fans and professional players that multiple bugs related to Omen and his abilities have been identified in VALORANT.
This has resulted in Riot Games removing Omen temporarily from all games modes in the game. Here is everything you need to know about the bug in VALORANT, which has arrived alongside the 5th anniversary of the game.

Recently, fans have discovered bugs on Omen while he is using his ability Dark Cover. If timed properly on the map of Lotus, players can phase through the walls and create a form of walk-through-the-walls cheat.
Instead of the players seeing the map commonly within their ability, they will be able to see it as clearly as possible. This can result in players being able to observe the enemies and identify their locations without using any abilities.
If this were a real ability within the game, this would result in Omen being the most broken agent in the game. In an official post on X, VALORANT has announced that the agent has been disabled from all queues.
VALORANT And Game-Breaking Bugs
Mostly, this feels like something that can be hot-fixed by the developers at Riot Games. The timing of this bug is quite funny, as it is the 5th anniversary of VALORANT. The game has encountered many bugs and glitches in the past. Most of these bugs have been fixed quite rapidly by the dev teams.
Recently, we encountered a bug related to one of Reyna’s abilities. Instead of her receiving a buff due to the bug, she was nerfed down. Many will hope this bug is fixed as soon as possible as VALORANT Masters Toronto starts from June 7.
