VALORANT, the flagship FPS title by Riot Games, uses a wide range of cryptic terms that often baffle players, especially beginners. One such term, in particular, is “Team Ace,” which you may have probably heard plenty of times at the end of a round.

However, the game doesn’t mention its exact meaning, which is why many VALORANT players flock to the internet to find its definition. If you’re also one of them, then you’ve come to the right place, as we explain everything about the term Team Ace and how to achieve it in VALORANT.

In VALORANT, a “Team Ace” occurs when each player on one team gets a kill against the opposing team in a single round. This means that every enemy player must be killed by a different player on the opposing team.

However, there are a few key points about Team Aces in VALORANT that you should bear in mind. The enemy team doesn’t necessarily need to start with 5 players for a Team Ace to happen. If they have less than 5 players at the start of the round, it is still possible for the opposing team to get a Team Ace by each player getting a kill.

If an enemy player is resurrected by Sage’s ultimate ability during the round, it is still possible for a Team Ace to happen if the resurrected player is killed by a different player than the one who initially killed them.

A regular “Ace” in VALORANT refers to a single player killing all 5 members of the opposing team in a round. So a Team Ace requires coordination across the entire team, while an Ace is a feat accomplished by one player alone. You can also check our complete guide for beginners in VALORANT.

How to get Team Ace in VALORANT

In simple words, ask every team member to secure a kill and win a particular round to obtain Team Ace in VALORANT. However, it’s worth noting that Team Ace doesn’t provide any extra benefits in the game and can only be considered an achievement. So do not expect it to grant you aimbot skills or drop your favorite VALORANT skin.
