Team Liquid Wins Valorant Game Changers 2025 & Dethrone Two-Time Champions
At the LoL Park venue in Seoul, South Korea, the top 10 all-female Valorant squads competed for glory. In front of a cheering crowd at the crowning event of the year, Team Liquid Brazil toppled defending Game Changers champions, Shopify Rebellion Gold.
Team Liquid Brazil didn’t allow history to repeat itself, as they previously lost the 2023 Game Changers Championship to Shopify Rebellion Gold. With the win at Valorant Game Changers Championship 2025, they’ve also made esports history, as the first Brazilian side to win a Game Changers championship event.

Team Liquid Brazil Defeats Juggernauts Shopify Rebellion Gold
Heading into the tournament, Shopify Rebellion Gold were the back-to-back defending champions, having won the 2023 edition against Team Liquid Brazil in São Paulo, and the 2024 edition after smashing MIBR 3-0 in Berlin.
As the bane of Brazilian sides, crushing hopes and dreams two years in a row, Shopify Rebellion Gold were one of the favorites. However, it was Team Liquid Brazil who went on a rampage in the upper bracket of the double-elimination bracket.
With IGL Natália “daiki” Vilela leading by example, Team Liquid Brazil barreled through KRÜ Blaze (2-0) and took out G2 Gozen (2-1). In the upper-bracket final, the squad had their first taste of revenge, sending Shopify Rebellion Gold down to the lower bracket after a close 2-1 match.
In the best-of-five lower bracket final, Shopify Rebellion Gold took out MIBR 3-1, securing a spot in the grand final and, therefore, a rematch against Team Liquid.

In the Valorant Game Changers Championship 2025 grand final, Shopify Rebellion Gold drew first blood, beating Team Liquid Brazil in a close 13-11 on Haven. Team Liquid Brazil responded with vigor on Shopify Rebellion Gold’s map pick of Pearl, winning 13-11. The Brazilian side then pulled ahead 2-1 in the best-of-five grand final thanks to a solid 13-10 win on Bind.
The defending champions didn’t go down without a fight, tying the score 2-2 after a convincing 13-6 on Sunset. On the fifth and deciding map, Split, it was Team Liquid Brazil who won 13-8, closing out the series to become the Valorant Game Changers Championship 2025 champions.
