Riot Confirms Next Closed Beta For VALORANT Mobile: Region & Release

As the game is slated to first launch in China this year, Riot Games has hosted multiple closed beta tests before the game is available for all. In a video posted on social media, Riot Games confirms that the next VALORANT mobile beta test is slated to take place in June 2025. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming closed beta test.

Since the announcement of VALORANT Mobile during VALORANT Champions 2024, Riot Games has hosted quite a few closed beta tests. In these tests, players have seen some of the game’s exclusive mobile-only features.

The news for the June beta was confirmed after both the Pioneer beta and the Content Creators & Esports beta ended on 23rd May. Following this, the game’s developers stated that a beta test would be coming in June. Riot has also confirmed that the game will have an exclusive game mode.

In the upcoming June Closed Beta, players will be able to try out the new game mode: Team Battle. In this, there will be a new map that will make references to Chinese designs and architecture. Furthermore, this map will be exclusive to VALORANT Mobile. In the game mode, players will have a dynamic points system.

The game will also add a new map ping system and quick chat. The goal for this is to ensure that team players will be able to communicate easily.

More New Features in the Upcoming Beta

Currently, the VALORANT Mobile Beta test will only be available in China. On social media platforms like X, videos of players showcasing their talent and aim are being shared worldwide. Interesting, according to a post by user @iYatoOfficial, all phones from iPhone 8 until iPhone 16 Pro Max will be supported in the closed beta.

One feature that Riot Games announced is that the game will have support for 120FPS. Therefore, this makes it one of the few mobile FPS titles that support the higher frame rate. Below is a list of all the significant features in VALORANT Mobile:

Battle Pass included

In previous beta tests, we have also seen various features announced within the game, like the replay system, spectating friends’ matches, and a new training mode (The Range).
