Since its announcement a few weeks back by Riot Games, VALORANT Mobile has become the most hyped game in mobile esports. A particular reason for this is its gameplay and the clips from its beta being circulated. Fans have been provided their first look at the gameplay and how similar it is to its PC counterpart. Recently, in a dev diary video, Riot Games announced that VALORANT Mobile will have exclusive features and game modes which won’t be available on PC.

Following the announcement of VALORANT Mobile collaborating with OnePlus, the game announced its first official tournament. This will be taking place in July 2025. Prior to that, VALORANT mobile just announced a new content creators tournament in China. This event will take place from June 23 until July 27. The format of the tournament is quite unique. Each Chinese streaming platform, BiliBili, Douyin, Douyu, Kwai, Huya, will run a mini tournament to determine their team of choice for that week.

The five selected teams will play in a single round robin consisting of matches that are a best-of-one series. Following this, the top 4 teams will play in a single-elimination bracket.  The grand finals will be a best-of-5 series. The teams that win each week will stand a chance to play in the show match at the first VALORANT Mobile tournament in July. That tournament will be a collaboration between OnePlus and VALORANT Mobile.

Currently, the game can only be pre-registered in China. Only fans in China will be able to register themselves for the upcoming June closed beta. As of the writing of this article, there is no update on the launch of VALORANT Mobile worldwide.
