What is the VALORANT Premier Schedule for Episode 9 Act 1?

VALORANT is a free-to-play first-person shooter video game. Since its launch in 2020, its popularity and fanbase have grown steadily. Multiple game modes have been added to the game. One such game mode for its esports ecosystem is known as Premier. This game mode is focused on players who wish to pave a path for themselves in the VALORANT esports ecosystem. Each new act releases a new schedule for the game mode. This article looks at the VALORANT Premier schedule for Episode 9 Act 1.

Since its release, VALORANT Premier has undergone multiple changes. Recently, we have seen some teams from various regions get an opportunity to qualify for their regional VALORANT Challengers League through this game mode. In this game mode, fans can make teams with players of their liking.

Below is the schedule for VALORANT Premier Episode 9 Act 1:

  • Week 1: June 27 – 30 on Lotus
  • Week 2: July 3 – 7 on Bind
  • Week 3: July 10 – 14 on Haven
  • Week 4: July 17 – 21 on Icebox
  • Week 5: July 24 – 28 on Sunset
  • Week 6: July 31 – August 4 on Abyss
  • Week 7: August 7 -10 on Ascent
  • Playoff Tournament: August 11

Each team will have to play two games in a given week. Teams must check their local time to know when their matches start every week. Everyone will be required to be present before the matches, as matchmaking queues open 15 minutes before the matches occur. There are new rules for rematch protection. Those teams will receive a bye if players don’t find a game. If teams lose their match, they will receive zero points for that week.

What is new in Premier for Episode 9 Act 1?

During the 2024 VALORANT Champions Tour, within various regions, the best teams in Premier participated in an event. This event consisted of other regional organizations, such as the Challenger League. The top two teams from that event qualified for the VCL Split 2 for their region. In the latest VALORANT update of Episode 9 Act 1, specific changes were made in Premier. They are as follows:

  • A new division, the Invite Division, was introduced. Players in this division will have a chance to play in the regional Challengers League.
  • Only eligible players for the Contender Division can join the Contender or Invite Division.
