Firstly, Vyse is the 25th agent in the game of VALORANT, but that isn’t her in-game ID number. On her ID card in VALORANT, she has the number 26. This means there isn’t an agent whose number 8 is within the game. The agent was first hinted at on Abyss within the hourglass prison at the far end of the map. Within certain parts of the map, a silver rose was also seen being scanned in a room. The same rose was present in the prison after Vyse escaped it.
The exciting part about her is that her nationality within the game is unknown. In a voice line taken to Kay/0, she states that she had previously studied robotics. In another voice line, she talks about Chaos Theory. For those who don’t know, Chaos Theory is all about the nonlinear happenings within the universe. This kind of proves that she used to work as a scientist or engineer before joining the VALORANT protocol.
In the introduction, the voice line on the map of Icebox, Vyse mentions the map as a project for which the Kingdom took away her research funding. An agent she mentions in one of her voice lines is Viper. In an interaction, she states that she and Viper must work again to save the world. As we have seen concerning Viper’s lore, she was a scientist for the Kingdom. Her dislike for Scions is quite prevalent, stating that she would have Raze blow up the entire map of Abyss.
That’s all that is currently revealed about the new agent Vyse within the VALORANT lore.
