Other than launching new skins, the most exciting time for fans is the date for new VALORANT updates. Each VALORANT update comes with new agents, skins, or maps. It must be noted that every month, VALORANT fans can expect at least one patch. The frequency of the patch realization depends on Riot. It has been noticed that the game gets a new update every two weeks. Players can see specific changes made to agents and maps within the game within the small patches. This can be in the form of buffs or nerfs to a given agent’s ability.
The previous VALORANT Update was Patch 10.10, which was released on May 28. Therefore, we can predict that the next VALORANT Update in 2025, which is patch 10.11, should be around June 11.
VALORANT receives constant updates every two weeks to keep the game fresh and the meta intact. Riot Games also uses a new patch to address some of the bugs in the game. While most of the patch updates are usually small changes, Riot brings a big update every other month or so. This may include a new agent, map, or something else.
Before a VALORANT update is made live, certain players can test it out in the Public Beta Environment (PBE). The PBE, as the name suggests, is basically a testing environment for new updates. This is because changes in the game could bring in bugs, and with a limited release of the patch, Riot ensures relies on player feedback to fix them. Despite this, bugs are commonly known to creep into the eventual patch.
