WoW How To Create A Guild – A Simple Guide To Follow
A guild in World of Warcraft is an association of people in pursuit of a common goal. A guild can be created by one person who will be the guild’s leader while gathering other players to join them and engage in fun activities. These activities can range from anything, such as PvP, to running dungeons and questing together. If you are interested in WoW how to create a guild, this article will provide you with a simple guide anyone can follow. Being a guild leader or just being in a guild can be extremely rewarding. You get to enjoy playing the game with a group of people who share similar values, and it can sometimes feel like a family.

How to Make a Guild in World of Warcraft?
Before you can actually create a guild, there are a couple of things you should know:
- What will the name of your guild be?
- What kind of a guild do you want to create (PvP, PvE, Role-play, etc)? Focus on Mythic raiding or casual Heroics?
- You’ll need a lot of money. Lots of gold is necessary for you to start your guild since you’ll need to purchase all kinds of stuff to put inside the guild bank.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Purchase a Guild Charter
If you want to become a successful guild leader, you need to create a guild, and to do that; you need to own the guild charter. The Alliance charter can be purchased from Aldwin Laughlin, located in the human city of Stormwind in the Trade District. The Horde charter can be purchased from Urtrun Clanbringer in the Valley of Strenght in Orgrimmar. Once you buy the charter, you will be asked to give your guild a name. Pay attention to the capitalization and spelling because changing the name of your guild after will cost you.
After naming your guild and buying the charter, you need to get signatures. This can easily be obtained if you have a couple of friends on WoW who are happy to sign your charter. If you do not, however, many players in trade chat might want to sign your charter with an alt. After you get all the signatures, go back to the NPC where you purchased the charter, and give him the signatures.
2. Create a Tabard
While creating an icon, you will also create your guild’s Crest. This will then be displayed on the flag of your Guild, your tabard, the guild bank, and other areas. In order to create your Crest, go back to the same person from whom you purchased the charter and select the option to create a guild crest. You will then get an interface that shows your character, together with options that allow you to change your icon, border, background, and icon color.
3. Set Up The Guild Bank
After completing the first two steps, you can set up your guild bank. If you are still new to the game, you can ask a guard in any city to point you in the direction of guild banks. Once you get to that bank, you will be given an empty bank with an option to purchase it. You’ll also have options to buy additional tabs when needed.

4. Setting Up Ranks
When your guild is created, you’ll have default ranks and settings, but you can change them if you want. You can make your own ranks and permissions; you do not have to follow the default options. You’ll be able to modify what each rank does in the guild, such as inviting members, demoting, promoting, editing info, etc. It is usually advised that you shouldn’t automatically promote somebody to a higher rank if you do not know somebody because they can abuse the guild features.
5. Get Some Guild Perks
The whole point is to find a good community and enjoy doing fun activities together, such as exploring the best WoW raids, as all of you work towards guild perks. These perks will provide you with rewards, which can include a bonus to your mounted speed, mobile access to the guild bank, hearthstone cooldown, etc.
Join A Guild Instead
Although you can create your guild in WoW, you can also join other guilds instead. There are many different sizes of guilds out there, but meeting new people is definitely the easiest way to find a good guild. Do not be discouraged if you do not get accepted into the guild immediately; usually, WoW guilds will have some requirements before they accept just anyone. In addition, pay attention to the types of guilds you want to join because there is a huge difference between joining a PvP and a role-playing guild.
