Prediction Market Platform Forkast Partners With GRID As Esports Data Supplier
Prediction market platform Forkast announced on Monday that it has partnered with GRID, with the company providing its esports data directly into markets.
Forkast announced the deal in an article on its X account, noting that “This is the one we’ve been waiting for.”
It added that the integration of GRID’s data “enables a whole new layer in player prop markets starting with titles like Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, and Dota 2.”
GRID will also provide live match widgets to Forkast, allowing users to “watch the embedded livestream, analyze the data, and trade the moment.”
Forkast Predicts Esports Growth This Year
The deal marks a further integration of esports into prediction markets. Forkast describes itself as a platform built for gaming and sports.
The company is targeting esports fans in particular, and CEO Chris Gonsalves believes 2026 will see high growth in esports prediction markets.
In comments last month, Gonsalves stated, “We think esports is going to have a huge growth spurt this year. Esports is still massively watched. There are record viewership numbers.”
Savvy Users Profiting In Esports Trading
Other prediction market platforms are also offering more esports markets. Users on Polymarket, in particular, have been able to generate substantial profits from trading on events.
One user generated over $100,000 from a month of wagering on LoL, Dota 2, Counter-Strike, and Valorant. The account is tied to a Chinese user on X.
Forkast is hopeful that users, particularly outside the US, such as Latin America, will choose its platform over competitors like Polymarket.
Gonsalves said the US market is becoming saturated, but other countries remain “untapped.” He added, “We have boots on the ground, team members in Brazil, Argentina, so I think we have a real advantage, and it’s an untapped area that’s going to grow.”
More Partners Get On GRID
GRID also provides its data to Polymarket through a partnership with Sportstensor, a market maker and liquidity provider for the company.
The company holds the majority of the rights for official esports data following the acquisition of Bayes Esports, also last year.
In addition to prediction markets, it also has partnerships with several other gambling platforms, including Bet365, Underdog, and PrizePicks. The latter two have also entered prediction markets through their own deals with Crypto.com, Kalshi, and Polymarket.
