In both teams, olofmeister has played a crucial role as a key rifler and an impressive secondary AWPer. As he has played for longer, it seems his rifle and AWP skills only seem to improve. He has worked with a large number of other professionals, becoming more proficient and skilled as the years have passed by.
Present and past teams

He was progressed through his career by working with a total of 5 other teams over the years. These teams have included the following: Fnatic, TEAMGLOBAL, LGB eSports, Absolute Legends, and H2K. Prior to playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in a professional capacity, olofmeister was the member of two Counter-Strike teams. This was the game that preceded CS:GO, and the teams olofmeister were involved in were a2g and RG esports. It remains to be seen whether he will stick with FaZe in the longer-term, but it’s safe to say that whichever team this player works with is likely to be very successful.
Some of the biggest highlights for olofmeister’s career were during his time playing for Fnatic, and more recently his time playing with FaZe. It that ever since olofmeister started playing competitively for Fnatic, he has always been at the very top. When olofmeister was on Fnatic, he quickly helped the team to become the number one team in the world. Shortly after his departure, Fnatic dropped in rankings. Olof then joined FaZe and soon after, FaZe Clan quickly climbed to be the top team in the world. Whilst playing for both teams, olofmeister has continued to increase his earnings for both himself and his team by winning Majors, big events, and tournaments with million dollar prize pools.
Achievements so far
olofmeister first started making an impact on the CS:GO scene in 2013 when he signed up to play with LGB Esports. By the time June 2014 came around, this Counter Strike player was ready for action with his new team: Fnatic. He got off to a great start by helping to bring the team to the semi-finals of Gfinity G3. Not content to rest on his initial success, olofmeister then worked with his group to achieve second place at the ESL ONE Cologne 2014.
2015 was also a successful year for olofmeister, who won the ESL One Katowice 2015, and the ESL One Cologne 2015, among other major tournaments. In 2016, olofmeister claimed victories at both the StarLadder Starseries XIV and the IEM X World Championship 2016.
Between 2016 and August 2017, olofmeister stayed with Fnatic, although the roster changed very rapidly, so the team struggled to find any consistent results. They did, however, still manage to get some good placements. Fnatic came 2nd in ELEAGUE Season 1, and they came first in Season 4 of the Europe ESL Pro League.
olofmeister’s most recent success was during his time with FaZe in 2017 and 2018. FaZe came first in the ECS Season 4 Finals, 2nd in the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals, 1st in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 event, 2nd in the ELEAGUE Major 2018 Boston tournament, and they have had plenty more 1st and 2nd place results.
At the start of April 2018, olofmeister stepped down from FaZe temporarily for personal reasons. Nobody knows why olofmeister made this move, but it’s likely to be related to something outside of CS:GO. Going forward, there’s no reason to believe that olofmeister won’t stay with FaZe and we expect his superstar qualities to shine through to help Olof fight his way through even more events in 2018 and beyond.
