There’s a fair spread of teams that’ll make their way into the Apex Legends ecosystem at the Esports World Cup. It was recently confirmed that thirty-two top-tier teams will either be invited to compete at the Esports World Cup, or they’ll have qualified through ‘offline events’ outside of the online qualifying stage. There are eight teams each from NA, EMEA, APAC North, and APAC South.

The online qualifiers will eventually see eight more teams make their way into the tournament. That’ll include two teams each from North America, APAC North, and LATAM, and one team each from APAC South and EMEA.

There’s a fairly unique format for the Apex Legends tournament at the Esports World Cup. It begins with a Group Stage, during which two groups of twenty teams will face off, with the top nine teams from each group making it through to the Finals. The 10th – 19th-ranked teams will fight through an LCQ and the top two teams from that will also make it to the Finals. That means that out of forty teams, only twenty will make it through to the Finals.
