Diablo 4 Standard Edition

Just as the name suggests, this is the standard version of the game that you can get for $69.99 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. There are several retailers that you can order the physical copy of the game at as well, such as Amazon.

If you pre-order this edition of the game, you will be getting three cosmetic goodies for three different games, as well as some items for Diablo4:

  • Inarius Wings & Inarius Murloc Pet in Diablo 3
  • Amalgam of Rage Mount in World of Warcraft
  • Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetics Set in Diablo Immortal
  • LightBearer Mount in Diablo 4
  • Caparison of Faith Mount Armor in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 Digital Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe edition is priced a bit more than the Standard one at $89.99, and for the extra $20 you will be getting the Temptation Mount and Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor in Diablo 4, and the rewards from the Standard pre-order. On top of that, you will also be getting the first Diablo 4 Season Pass, and you will also get early access to the game (June 1st for America and June 2nd for Europe and Asia).

Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition

Just like the Deluxe Edition, you can only purchase this one digitally. This version of the game costs $99.99, and on top of giving you the items from the Standard Edition as well as the Deluxe Edition, the Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition will give you a 20-tier skip on the Battle Pass as well as the “Wings of the Creator” emote in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Limited Collector’s Box

There is no Diablo 4 Collector’s Edition this time around, but there is a Limited Collector’s Box, which many collectors will find even more exciting. The price tag on this one has to get some credit, as it is $96.66, because why would they not shove the devil’s number into one of the editions, right?

Since it is cheaper than the Ultimate Edition, one would be surprised why this is considered the most-rare option for purchase, and that is because it does not come with a copy of the game.

Instead, you will be getting a box packed with a lot of Diablo 4-themed gear. It is important to note that this edition will be shipping out a bit later than the game’s release date, which is on June 30th, 2023.

The box contains the following items:

  • Candle of Creation
  • Occult Mousepad
  • Cloth Map of Sanctuary
  • Pin of the Horadrim
  • Diablo IV Collector’s Edition Art Book
  • Matted Fine Art Prints (x2) – 18.54” x 10.79”

Diablo 4 Which Edition To Buy?

After getting a deeper insight into all of the available editions, did it make it easier for you to decide which version you’ll be spending your money on? Is the Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition worth it, even if you have to buy a copy of the game in of the other bundles, which means that you will be spending at least $166.65 if you combo it with the Standard Edition, and a maximum of $196.65 if you combo it with the Ultimate Edition?

In our opinion, it definitely is, because the items you get inside the box look really cool, and you will definitely have them displayed somewhere in your game room, especially the candles that will never run out as they are electric, and they have stands dedicated to Lilith and Tyrael. So, if you have the budget for it, the Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition + Diablo 4 Limited Collector’s Box is the way to go.
