What To Do With Ears in Diablo 4 – Gruesome Bragging Rights
While a lot of people are focusing on levelling up their characters and grinding all of the systems that Diablo 4 has to offer to make their character stronger for the end-game PVE content, some enjoy the other side of Diablo 4 – PVP. But what do Diablo 4 ear have to do with that?
Even if PvP in Diablo 4 has a very niche player base, it is still something that is fun to experience unless you are, of course, playing as a Hardcore Diablo 4 class, where engaging in PvP is probably something that you want to avoid. While having simple stats is something that Blizzard is used to doing in the past, in modern PvP combat, they made the systems for bragging rights a lot flashier, or dare we say…fleshier due to Diablo 4 ears.

Diablo 4 What To Do With Ears – What Are Ear Trophies?
Those who have been playing a bit of Diablo 2 Resurrection might already know the answer to this question, as it’s pretty much the same thing. Ears in Diablo 4 are items that you get when you defeat someone in PvP for the first time. You will see ears drop off as an item when you slay them, and if you want, you can loot it and add it to your inventory.
What To Do With Ears
While it is an interesting mechanic that you can loot someone’s ear when you beat them in a PvP fight, when it comes to what to do with ears Diablo 4, the answer is nothing too exciting. So far, the ears that you gain in PvP are nothing more than bragging rights, and they do not serve any other kind of purpose.
You cannot trade the ears to any vendors, you don’t gain anything that makes your character stronger, and you cannot even unlock cosmetics with them. They are just for bragging rights, and if that means nothing to you, then they are pretty useless, and you should just throw them away.
In the future, Diablo 4 might have something where you can trade or do something with ears you gain from dominating in PvP but looking back on Diablo 2 Resurrection, there is quite a small chance that is going to change since that game never got any updates for this system, and Diablo 4 will probably not considering that PvP is not the most popular aspect of the game.
