After two groups concluded their play, it was time for the playoffs. So far, we have seen only one match being played. Liquid took on 100 Thieves for what turned out to be an excellent match.
After a back and forth action on Nuke, Liquid was able to win their map pick. It is important to mention that they looked stellar on the T-side of Nuke, hence why they were able to close things out without breaking a sweat.
Dust 2, however, did not go according to plan, at least for Liquid. After stringing 6 rounds on the T-side of Dust 2, we were expecting Liquid to walk through 100 Thieves and book themselves a spot in the semi-finals. However, they failed to do so and we had to see Inferno.
It was clear from the get-go that something was not right with Liquid. After being 3-0 up, they fell apart. Losing 6 rounds in a row woke up Liquid and they were able to win the half with an 8-7 score.
T-side went smoothly for Liquid. Aggressive plays really helped them on Inferno and they closed things out with a 16-12 victory.
Since North American version of CS_Summit 6 lacks a couple of teams, it is also hard to provide reliable predictions. However, we worked hard to present you with the analysis for upcoming matches so do not miss out.
EG has won 4 straight. On the other hand, Gen.G was on quite a big losing streak. However, they bounced back with victories against Chaos and Cloud9. From our perspective, this will not be enough for them to beat Evil Geniuses in this one.
