FaZe best MOUZ to lift IEM Chengdu 2024 trophy
IEM Chengdu 2024 is at an end, with FaZe Clan crowned the winners over MOUZ. It was a spectacular performance from FaZe, who have continued their recording of attending every single CS2 Grand Final so far.
But what actually went down on the server as FaZe blasted their way to victory? Let’s find out!
FaZe finally win a Grand Final

In recent times, FaZe have been second-to-none at actually reaching the Grand Finals of CS2 tournaments. However, in recent times, actually finishing the job has proven a difficult task. Four Grand Final defeats in a row have left FaZe bruised, but not beaten, and their perseverance finally has its reward. This time, a quick 2:0 series was enough for FaZe to dominate MOUZ, in a series that never really got competitive.
This was FaZe at their best. All their stars were singing to the same tune, with broky topping the board and securing the tournament MVP award. Also, frozen put in another fantastic performance to lift his first trophy in a FaZe jersey, although against his old team it may leave a bitter taste.
Are MOUZ Group Stage merchants?

While MOUZ have certainly done well to reach the Grand Final of IEM Chengdu 2024, the history books will have it down as another Playoffs failure for this roster. This is a team desperate to dodge the Group Stage merchant allegations, but sadly they’ve done little to dissuade those who feel that way. Dropping 2:0 to FaZe without really making it competitive is another missed opportunity, rather than a big step forward for the team.
On the MOUZ side, Jimpphat can hold his head up high. He performed admirably throughout the series, although it wasn’t enough to stop FaZe’s reign of terror over MOUZ. The truth of it is simple – they’re going to face FaZe in big matches in the future, and they seriously need to break this duck against them before it becomes an insurmountable mental block.
