Trainwreck Furious After Losing $5m Falcons CS2 Bet in BLAST Rivals FURIA Defeat

Top Kick streamer Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam couldn’t believe it after his losing bet on the BLAST Rivals Fall Counter-Strike final, as FURIA dismantled Team Falcons – and Train waved goodbye to $5 million.

Train is no stranger to placing big wagers. It’s something he became known for, leading the charge for gambling content on Twitch before it was banned, and he took his content over to Stake-owned Kick instead.

He routinely advises viewers not to gamble, assuring them that they will lose in the long run, but doesn’t take his own advice – and it’s really come back to bite him now.

Ahead of the BLAST Rivals final, Train decided to back Team Falcons, hot off the heels of victories against the likes of Team Spirit and Team Vitality.

Trainwreck Bets $5M on Falcons Beating FURIA

He wagered over $5 million on the Saudi-owned organization beating FURIA, which would have returned just under $9.5 million, almost doubling his money.

While he was clearly disappointed in his Kick stream, literally speechless when the final overtime round went the way of FURIA, Train took to social media after the fact to question the gameplay.

Train Compares Falcons to IBuyPower Matchfixing Scandal

“IBUYPOWER LEVEL OF GAMEPLAY,” he exclaimed, comparing Falcons’ loss to the iBP team banned for matchfixing way back in 2014. “I put a massive bet on it, and suddenly they are making NOVICE-level mistakes.”

While it’s unclear right now whether this actually was the biggest bet ever placed on Counter-Strike, you can only imagine the frustration of losing $5m on a result like this, especially if you feel the team made serious avoidable mistakes.

Needless to say, while Train’s gambling is unlikely to stop off the back of this, he might think twice before betting on Counter-Strike or Falcons again.
