Arc World Tour 2024 Details Unveiled

Lately, the Arc World Tour has been dominated by Guilty Gear Strive. This year, it’s growing again though. It’ll still be a regular circuit though, with events held throughout the year.

It’s a wider circuit which means events throughout the year will be under the Arc World Tour Umbrella. We’ll see major events take place, with winners taking points for the overall rankings. At the end of the year, the players with the most points go through to the Arc World Tour Finals.

This year, we’re once again getting Guilty Gear Strive at the Arc World Tour. However, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising will be joining that lineup too. This is one of Arc’s newer games, but it’s proven pretty popular. It even had a smaller event at the 2023 World Tour Finals. It’s great to see it making the main line-up this year.

Along with those two, we’ll also get a smaller tournament for Under Night In-Birth Sys Celes. This last event will be closer to what GBFFVR received in 2023 though, with no ongoing points but a self-contained tournament.

These are the prize pools we’ve seen announced for the three games at Arc World Tour 2024.

  • Guilty Gear Strive – $50,000
  • Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising – $50,000
  • Under Night In-Birth Sys: Celes – $20,000

Qualifying Events

That’s how the whole tournament is going to work for 2023. What events will actually help players secure their spots though? There’s a handful that have already been announced.

The biggest fighting games tournaments are making it into the Platinum tier, where players get instant qualification. These include EVO, EVO Japan, Frosty Faustings, and more. The other events will be announced as they get closer throughout the year. They should provide opportunities for players in all regions to get involved though.
