DNF Duel isn’t the most widely played Arc System Works games, but it’s still receiving plenty of attention from the developers. Yet another new character will be joining the DNF Duel roster soon! At the Tokyo Game Show, we first learned of the next character coming to the anime fighting game, it’s going to be Battle Mage.
This new character follows on from the Spectre DNF Duel update in expanding the roster even further.
Battle Mage is the latest character and Arc has shown off a lot more of them this week with a brand-new trailer and news on when we can expect them to come to the game. In the latest drop, we’ve gotten to know the new addition a lot better. This is what we got from the latest reveals about the fresh face about to come to DNF Duel.

Out of five DLC characters Battle Mage takes us into our third. That leaves two more still to come even after this release. We don’t know much about the next two yet but will be able to play hands-on with Battle Mage in DNF Duel pretty soon.
The Battle Mage DNF Duel release is getting closer with the release of a new trailer for the character. Her attacks involving magic are in full view which should show a bit more about how the character is going to play. There seems to be a different form for the character’s Super which is an interesting mechanic for the game.

Battle Mage will be the next DLC Character to join the Arc System Works fighting game. The character is the third DLC addition for DNF Duel, after both Spectre and Brawler. From their initial design, it looks like they’ll be using elemental power attacks utilizing a staff. This could make a ranged character archetype or something more innovative with closer gameplay.
Battle Mage will help broaden out DNF Duel’s roster. The game isn’t included in the Arc World Tour this year. However, it’s still getting quite a bit of play at events like CEOtaku. The latest character coming to the game might be a good opportunity for players to check back in and see how the title has developed.
The DNF Duel Battle Pass release date has been confirmed with this new trailer too! We can expect this update to hit the game on December 18th. The character will be part of the current season pass for the game, along with the past DLC fighters Spectre and Brawler.
