Cloud9 Sign Dawood Sikandar
This week, Cloud9 has expanded its Tekken roster by signing Dawood Sikandar. The player has been active since 2019, with a few decent results behind him and he’s already been a part of a few orgs, like vSlash Esports, Ashes Gaming, and MSHost. He’s been a free agent since May, and will now be joining Cloud9.
In the past, Dawood Sikander has had some strong performances in Tekken 8. He’s already had results like 2nd at the BAAZ Gauntlet. He competed at events for Tekken 7 too. Hopefully he’s able to put Cloud9 on the map in upcoming tournaments for Tekken 8.
Cloud9 are already no stranger to fighting games. They already have one Tekken player, YUYU. They even recently expanded by signing JB as their first Street Fighter player, followed by Lexx just a month later. With more players competing in fighters, they’re well-positioned for the upcoming circuits.
We’re looking at both the Tekken World Tour and Capcom Pro Tour running with expanded prize pools this season. These extra signings could make Cloud9 a real competitor at these events.
