Guilty Gear Strive has already had a long post-launch support, with loads of characters getting added. We’re not done yet though. One of the next characters announced is a fan-favorite who players have been requesting for a long time already. Dizzy is coming to Guilty Gear Strive in an upcoming update.
Dizzy is our next character up for DLC GGS characters. She’s on the older side, originating quite a few games back. Fans have been requesting her comeback for quite a long time, it’ll be interesting to see how her unique moves are handled in Strive. So far, it looks like there’s been some big changes for Dizzy.
Arc posted a short trailer teasing the upcoming release of Dizzy Guilty Gear Strive DLC. Foremost in the trailer is the visual update. Dizzy first appeared in Guilty Gear X, but has popped back up a lot since, in games like Xrd. She’s had a decent redesign as a new character for Strive. It looks like she’s been updated but kept pretty familiar from past appearances.
As this is just our first teaser, we don’t have too much to go on when it comes to moves yet. In the past, she’s been a zoner, which would be fun for Strive. However, we’ll have to see how her moves have been updated this time.

That’s what we’ve learned about Dizzy in Guilty Gear Strive so far, but when will she be released? We’ve got a fully confirmed release date this time, not just a random window. The Dizzy Strive update will come on October 31st! Halloween.
There’s not long to wait until she releases in full. Keep an eye on fighting game news though as we’ll likely learn more about her move set as we get closer to the release date.
